As a developing country, Pakistan is facing serious issues related to poverty. Most of the Pakistanis are very poor and most of them are even below the line of poverty. This situation is very alarming as sometimes they are not even able to eat two times a day. Taking into consideration all these circumstances and situations, the Government of Pakistan has announced and Launched a program named as Benazir Kafalat Program also called the Benazir Income Support Program which is abbreviated as BISP on the name of the Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Benazir Bhutto by Former Prime Minister of 2008, Mr. Yousaf Raza Gilani with the advice of Asif Ali Zardari, the former or X-President of Pakistan.
This program helps needy and poor families with some amount of money issued by the Government of Pakistan under this program so that they can easily fulfill their basic requirements and needs.
What’s the Benazir Kafalat Program?
There is good news for all of you! Benazir kafalat program which had been paused is going to resume again in February 2024. You can get this money from HBL ATMs and BISP Cash Centers. BISP’s funds are increasing which were previously 8500 Rupees.
Now you will get Rs.9000. New registrations for BISP have also started. If you have not registered yet, you can register for the program at the BISP office.

How to check the Benazir Kafalat Program using CNIC in 2024?
CNIC number is used to get information about your eligibility and qualification for this Benazir Income Support Program.
You can check your eligibility by the following simple and extremely easy 2-step process:
- Enter your CNIC Number.
- Send it to 8171.
After doing the above two steps of the process, you will receive a message at 8171. In the message, they will tell you whether you are eligible for this financial aid or not.
